According to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau, 25.2 percent of D.C. residents are Black or African American, the second-largest percentage of all the benchmark regions. 9.9 percent of residents are Asian, 15.1 percent are Hispanic or Latino and 46.8 percent are White.
